LAS MUSAS DE AMÉRICA

This concert programme is based on ten poems by three women writers from the Southern Cone: Juana de Ibarbourou, Alfonsina Storni and Gabriela Mistral, set to music by Leandro Marziotte. These three literary greats are joined by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz from Mexico, who several centuries ago fought for women’s equality and education.

It is an intimate concert where different sonorities and epochs converse. Always aiming at the reflection of these messages that in spite of the time are still current.
